From March 26-May 7 I am Volunteering with Cross-Cultural Solutions in Moshi, Tanzania as a Nursery School Teacher. Currently I am working at Elroi Nursery School, in Karanga just outside of Moshi, teaching English and Math. At the end of my 6 weeks with CCS, my dad will join me in Tanzania and together we will hike the Marangu route of Kilimanjaro.
“Mzungu” in Kiswahili means foreigner but it is an endearing term.

Departure (March 26th)
Getting ready for the long journey ahead. 8 hours to Frankfurt - 8 hours to Addis Ababa - another 5 hours to Moshi.
